Troubleshooting Checklist
The following questions should be considered when troubleshooting.
- Is the Workflow server running?
- Is the Workflow subscriber running?
- Has the Workflow server been properly configured?
- Has the Workflow subscriber been properly configured?
- Have you checked the events, starting rules, and conditions displayed in the Workflow subscriber trace log?
- Is your Workflow license valid and in the correct location?
- Do you have the sufficient permissions and access rights to perform the actions in question?
- Have you reviewed the errors that Workflow has reported?
- Did you recently move the Workflow database or Laserfiche repository?

- My workflow fails to start
- My workflow fails to finish
- I have a runaway workflow
- Conflicting starting rules
- I want tasks to retry if they encounter an error
- I encountered an error connecting to the Workflow server
